The Recreational Courses are organised as follows.
2 DAY ISSA KEELBOAT CREW COURSE (For absolute beginners).,
4 DAY YACHT CREW (learn to steer and control a yacht as well as trim sails, reef sails and manage the vessel with a skippers direction).
14 DAY ZERO TO HERO This is the foundation course that all the recreational courses are built upon. This enables you to rent yachts all over the world.
10 DAY OFFSHORE SKIPPER for students who have 2 years or 1000NM miles under their belt. Join this course if you have become a good experienced Skipper.
10 DAY MASTER of YACHTS certification for aspiring yacht skippers.

Sail in Asia our Multi Activity Water Sport Centres
Ao Yon is our base, and we’ve recently expanded with a new center at the port – Coco Pier. Coco Pier is now the hub for our recreational yacht training. It’s a purpose-built marine centre designed for comfort and convenience, featuring a stylish restaurant, a relaxed café, and – of course – high-quality, well-appointed restroom facilities (because we believe even the little details make a big difference!). At Coco Pier, you can enjoy a seamless sailing experience – no need to get your feet wet unless you want to. With easy access to the water and excellent onshore amenities, it’s ideal for both beginners and experienced sailors.

Outdoor Education is our strong point and we have experience of over thirty years running Outdoor Education courses all over the world, including Duke of Edinburgh International Award Adventurous Journeys. We have two major sites, one in Krabi province, our river base, the other on Phuket Island at Yon Bay.

Team Building in Phuket is our well known and highly regarded website for corporate clients visiting Phuket. We offer activities for up tpo 80 persons in yachts and a range of leisure activities on very large yachts for corporate teambuilding and Incentiuve groups.
International Schools come to us for Professional Training or to establish their own ISSA certified water sports centre and complete our popular outdoor education programs for students.
The PWSC is the hub of all the water sports activities offered by SIA. This is our fabulous activity centre for members who are able to rent yachts, or join island safaris at weekends.
Come to Coco Pier and you will find a superb professional ISSA training centre with private berth and dock, classrooms as well as great car park, cafe and delightful high quality restaurant that can accommodate large groups of people.
Team Building Activities on a beautiful beach and with superb sailing yachts is something unique to Sail in Asia. We have some really exciting and fun filled activities for companies who have come to Thailand for Teambuilding. We have had some amazing groups come to us for all sorts of activities so if you want some high end events or mini competitions just talk to us. Our Dragon Boats are superb for competitions for Schools and for Teambuilding.
Base
The PWSC is our superb water sports base at Ao Yon beach. The facility is a Thai Style building with changing rooms and a toilets. Students taking ISSA courses are taught in air conditioned classrooms and the practical is taught on our fleet of Platus Farr 11s and even a Trimaran and a Yacht Racer. Watersports Activity Centre at Ao Yon Phuket
The video below, shows you our almost perfect location, at Ao Yon, on Cape Panwa. Our fleet of 12 yachts and our water sports activity centre are evident in the video. Most of our yacht training and team building happens in this ideal location. The Phuket Water Sports Centre has changing rooms, and amenities right by the beach.
